The Coup de Dés series of colloquia on architecture and cities sets a specific topic for each of its editions. In 2009-2010 the Fundació Mies van der Rohe has taken the initiative to develop a special workshop focusing on the contemporary legacy of Modernism in Mediterranean cities, directed by eduard Bru within the framework of ETSAB/UPC and Docomomo.
The 2010 Coup de Dés will participate of this project by also focusing on significant realizations in Mediterranean cities, with an emphasis on the Eastern region. As a first step, it is foreseen to initiate a series of consultations with experts that will lead to determining the architectural/urban realizations to be debated. |
